OUR FOUNDER
Susan Chaberski brings more than 25 years of nonprofit financial leadership, with nearly two decades dedicated to advancing Head Start and Community Action agencies nationwide. She currently serves as a Fiscal Reviewer Consultant with Manhattan Strategy Group, conducting federal monitoring to ensure compliance, accountability, and strong stewardship of public funds.
As the Founder of Grant Warriors and a Senior Fiscal Consultant with The Non-Profit Connection, Susan partners with grantees to strengthen financial systems, enhance reporting processes, and secure sustainable funding through strategic grant writing, funder prospecting, and compliance management.
Her expertise spans grant compliance, fiscal oversight, and strategic planning, including evaluating grant applications for the Office of Head Start (OHS), Community Economic Development (CED), and other federal programs. Known for her practical, results-driven approach, Susan equips organizations to build capacity, maximize resources, and achieve lasting impact.
She holds a master’s degree in nonprofit leadership and a bachelor’s degree in business from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Based in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, Susan finds balance through yoga, hiking, and time spent with her husband, two sons, and their spirited rescue dog, Griffin.
